In his third single of the year, Jonas Loeb released the heavy drumstep track ‘Mane’ at Midnight Monday, during the height of a full lunar eclipse. Featuring an embracing flow, squiggly bassline, infectious melody, and purposeful lack of vocals, this song is for those moments when you crank the volume, forget your problems, and live in the present moment.
The song is the fourth and final single from Jonas’ first EP in nearly a decade, slated for release on his imprint ‘Dope & Mean Records’ this summer.
“The idea was initially penned in 2019 as an ode to my long hair, but I finished it after I cut it off. Still, spiritually to me this song evokes the feeling of letting your hair down after a tough day to move forward and still vibe out.”
